Neighbors Helping Neighbors
CITY OF ARVADA’S VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS
One of the best parts of living in Arvada is being part of a community where neighbors look out for one another. When people come together to serve, we build connections, learn new skills, and make a tangible difference in the lives of our fellow citizens.
Read on to discover some meaningful ways you can volunteer your time and talents this season with the City of Arvada!
Help keep Arvada beautiful by volunteering to Adopt-A-Street and collect litter from our community streets, parks, green belts, and waterways.
Volunteers agree to clean the adopted street at least four times per year. Signs will be posted nearby to recognize the efforts of volunteers, civic groups, churches, or businesses.
To start the process of adopting a street, please submit your request here!
ADOPT-A-STREET
Through the Adopt-A-Trail program, short sections of trail are adopted by individuals, companies, schools and other groups.
The city requests that trail adopters participate in a litter clean-up on their section of trail once per month for a period of one year. Signs are posted along the trail, giving recognition to individuals or group volunteers.
If you would like to adopt a trail in Arvada, please start by filling out the Adopt-A-Trail program request form!
